Toms,

Quick question. Just installed a new motherboard in my case. I don't remember making sure my motherboard standoffs were tightened. I guess I spaced it. Do motherboard screws (not the brass standoffs) tighten the standoffs underneath? Thus ensuring everything is nice and snug? Thanks.

Supposedly the standoffs should be tightened before installing the board, if the standoffs vent in all the way before you installed the board then you are fine even if you did not tighten them. Using the screws to do it is not recommended since they will squeeze down on the board doing so.
