I got good feedback on my question - so I marked my post as solved. But now I have realized I have one final question. Can I change the "status" back to "unsolved" so people don't ignore it?

Thanks
Keep up the good work
Peter

Ok I just looked at your thread and the best answer that you selected can be unselected but before I do if you will just confirm that you want that done and I'll make the change.

You can leave the Best Answer if it still answers the original question. If you have a new question, you should definitely start a new thread.

I submitted an answer to your thread , so at this point you can leave the solution that you did for your original question and make a new thread if you want further answers. You may want to do that and change your question somewhat to find out if you can use your original OS on the new machine.
