Hi everyone, as I'm currently waiting for a replacement graphics card to come, I figured i'd post this in the meantime. I'm curious as to what everyone thinks about my setup and how it will play some of the games I'll list.

CPU: AMD FX 8120 (OC to 3.9, 1.4v)
Motherboard: Biostar A880GZ
RAM: 8GB Corsair DDR3 1333mhz.
HDD: 320 GB
PSU: Corsair Builder Series 600 watt
Video Card: HIS AMD 7850 HD 2GB

I'll be playing some of these games as soon as my new card comes:
-Bioshock Infinite
-Battlefield 3
-Tomb Raider
-Skyrim

So you already have the build? The 7850 for be personally (I have the 1gb version) Has been able to play tomb raider on high (ultra if I give it a little o/c ) but ultimate (with tressfx) brings it to it's knees.
Battlefield 3 multiplayer I can run high and single player ultra runs ok.
Don't have Skyrim but it should run just fine.
I'll be getting Bioshock once it's released but I assume high shouldn't be a problem.

This is all at 1080p.

yeah i have everything except for the card, i had ordered that last cause i hadn't had enough lol.

but yeah i decided to go with the 2gb because i read somewhere that with 1gb in some games it can slow it down a little at different parts and with 2 it gives it more "room" i guess you could say?

i do plan on overclocking the card slightly and the monitor i use is a little older, like maybe 18" and no HD. so since i won't be running at 1080p i should gain a couple frames right?

The bulldoze series wasn't a great one, had lower ipc then its predecessor (stars) and consumes a lot of power in the process. However it is still "good enough."

yeah believe me ive heard alot about it. i really just want to know if it'll affect gaming performance at all. i know that games are primarily dependant on the GPU so that would lead to me to believe that as long as you have a good GPU...
