Hi,

I'm a professional online poker player. I'm looking to buy a new desktop PC (and whatever graphs card(s) are necessary) that will support three (3) 2560x1600 displays.

My budget is basically unlimited, just need something that will effectively run a number of poker sites, some tracking software, and browers etc, nothing too fancy. I know close to nothing about computers fwiw.

Thanks in advance!

get core i7 3770k with z77 mobo, 16gb of ram(4x4) and two radeon HD7970 graphic cards, crossfire them and make sure you have sufficient power supply for crossfire ( 850w 80+bronze ) and you are set

just remember that for 3 monitors display you need an AMD Eyefinity-validated dongle.
See http://www.amd.com/EyefinityDongles
for required and suitable

That's what you should do...

CPU: AMD FX8350
MoBo: ASrock 990FX Extreme9
FAN: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: G.skill Ripjaws 32GB DDR3-2133MHz
SSD: Crucial M4 512 GB SSD
HDD: WD Velociraptor 10K RPM 1 TB 64 MB Cache
GPU: 2x Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition Crossfire setup
PSU: Antec High Current 1000W 80 PLUS Platinum certified
Disk Drives: ASUS Blu-Ray Writer and ASUS Blu-Ray Reader/DVD writer
SOUND: ASUS Xonar DX

Edit: If this system won't do whatever it is you want to do with a PC, then you shouldn't be doing it...

seems like an advertisement for pre-built PC

the fx-8350 wouldn't go near the half of i7-3770k plus 32gb of ram is more workstation build

but nice from you bro

Actually, I don't know a prebuilt PC outside of MAYBE AlienWare that would build something like that.

I threw in 32 GB RAM because if his budget is unlimited he may as well have it...If I had all the money, I would throw 32 GB RAM in my next gaming build...or 64 GB if that's a possibility by then...

Don't start an Intel/AMD debate...that chip can hang with intel, and will work out BETTER in future games when the console developers start looking at better ways to harness 8 integer cores. I can show you benchmarks where an FX8350 destroys an i7 on ULTRA settings (1440p) In Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3, Metro 2033, etc.

and all of them will be deceiving and misleading , wanna real benchmarks see tom's hardware's and learn about the superiority of i7 over any amd
peace

Cause you'd spend $300+ on a CPU to run it at Medium settings right? Look at MAX settings benchmarks...
