I'm looking for the best budget motherboard for overclocking my phenom 830. The only features I really care about are good built in audio, good ram options (up to 32gb, as fast as possible), and mainly being able to overclock well. I could care less about color or extra options like x4 sli. I'm only running a single 660 ti and 2 hard drive, but I want the system to be as future proof as possible (Might upgrade to a fx 8350 or something in the future).

It seems like every motherboard I look at is just nonstop DOA reviews, and I am really pretty clueless for looking for motherboards (like the vrm and x8 x16 ueffi, meaningless for me).

I was looking at this one, but I really have no idea to be honest.

Which 990fx? Cmon guys I need some actual advice. Which ones do you have? what are the differences? Why is the 990fx best?

The 990fx is the latest chipset and has the 8 pin 12v connector which most high end cpus benefit from. If you want to go cheap, some 970 boards will work fine, but may require a bios flash before the 8350 will post. Some low end micro atx boards claim support for the 8xxx series cpus, but come up short and have stability problems. For the 830 phenom, any number of boards will work fine; here's an htpc board that has some built in overclocking setups in the bios and sata III support for ssds: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138345. Here's a 990fx board for the 8350:
