Upgrading GTX 550Ti

Currently I am running dual PNY Geforce GTX 550Ti cards, and would like to upgrade to a single more powerful card. My budget range is $300 or less.
I play games such as Skyrim, Fallout 3, and a few MMORPG's on high currently with no problems. The issue I have is space; There are some connections for USB 3.0 that are unavailable because one of the graphics cards is in the way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

First thing i checked was your PSU and thats enough to run any card these days. Anyway in my opinion following two cards will be in your budget and are totally powerful than your previous ones


EVGA GeForce GTX 660

OR


HIS 7870

but if you can do a lil more money buy 7870 of Saphire or Gigabyte
