Hi, my current PC is over 5 years old and is showing its age when trying to play the latest games so I'm looking to buy a new prebuilt PC (tower only) for around £500-750.

I'm not too clued up on what’s the best hardware at the moment but I think I'd like at least an i5 3470, 8gb RAM and a 7850 (or equivalent). I’m not too fussed about overclocking and future proofing as I’ll probably just keep this for 2-3 years.

To play games such as WoW, BF3, and the new Bioshock would you recommend the below and do they represent value for money?

Thanks in advance!

I'd say that the arbico one is better becos the palicomp one doesn't state the brand of the PSU and the mainboard is using a last-gen chipset.

Thanks very much!
Would you say it was worth paying the extra £35 for the 7870? Not sure if I can get away with spending less and still running the above games at high settings.

Yes, the 7870 is worth the upgrade if you want to play bf3 on ultra. But it depends on the resolution your gaming at and would you consider an nvidia card

Well as an upgrade for the 7850 2gb arbico charge:
7870 2gb +£35
GTX 660 2gb +£25
GTX 660Ti 2gb + £85

I think the 660ti is out of my price range so it would be a choice of a 7850, 7870 or GTX 660

The HD 7870 and GTX660 isn't much different, but if £10 isn't a matter than HD 7870 is better. but the GTX660 has physX though so your choice. But why don't you build a PC by yourself, maybe it could reduce the cost. and BTW will you get tomb raider and bioshock game coupons for free? cos if you buy the card in online stores, youll get those for free (ex. in newegg or overclockers uk)

I've looked at building one myself but with the added cost of buying an operating system it seems more expensive than buying a prebuilt one. I believe that I will recieve the free games but will double check, thanks for mentioning it!
