Backstory
I have been having problems in the past week accessing my 2nd hard drive ( D: ) where it disappeared from "my computer" and I couldn't access it. After trying many fixes and checking the connections I managed to get it working again... Now a few days later the problem is back but worse.

The problems
1. Every 2~ min my computer beeps. (mobo speakers, exactly the same kind of beep as POST) I read on google the beep could be related to fan speeds being under 800RPM, however I am unsure if that really is the problem, or if this is at all related to my other problem. Here's a screenshot showing fan speeds in hwmonitor:

2. I once again cannot properly access my D drive. I can open it in my computer and view the folder indexes with all of my file names listed, but it takes AGES to load anything. (im talking like 1min for 1 kb text document) I tried backing up the stuff I need to C:/ but the the transfer was going incredibly slow so I stopped it for now.

In addition to that I am getting "Error: Check: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)" in uTorrent. I've looked up that problem and tried to run a chkdsk on D:/, which failed. Here is the screenhot of that, hopefully someone can make sense of the checkdsk results as I can't.

I'm not sure if the 2 problems are related or not, or what to try next which is why I'm here. Please can anyone with some insight help me out?
I can post all logs / screenshots that are required.

thanks

Thanks alot for the reply.
How would I go about fixing that? new fan part, new software for fans? Sorry I'm not sure.

Thanks alot, I did it and got these results, [strike]it has fixed the beeping (or so it seems)[/strike] [edit: beeping not fixed] but I'm still getting the same CRC error in uTorrent so I'm not sure if it fixed the writing thing still. Maybe you can tell from the results?

thanks again.

1) a new fan should solve the problem

2) there was a problem with your hard drive which chkdsk seems to have taken care of.

what are the temperatures of the CPU and the motherboard when it beeps?
have you try to run the diagnostic software of the hard drive manufacturer?
