I was messing around in the bios and I noticed that my ram was running at 1333MHZ. I knocked it up to 1600MHZ but it won't let me push it higher. Both the board and the ram should go to 1866MHZ. Do I need to adjust my timings, the box for the ram says CL9-10-9-28 1.5v.

How do I adjust these timings? What should I pick because my ram is at 1600, not at its rated 1866.

Automatic settings at 1600MHZ 1.492V
Command rate 2 auto

TCL 11 auto

Trcd 11 auto

Trp 11 auto

Tras 28 auto

My main board is a MSI 970A-G46 and my cpu is a X6 1045t 6 core(2.70GHZ).

My settings are at 1600MHZ(bios doesn't let me go to 1866) 1.492V(no 1.5v option)
Command rate 2

I lowered my timings. Not sure if I can go lower at 1600MHZ.

8-8-8-24 @ 1.601v works so far in gaming.

7-8-7-24 @ 1.652v crashes game performance test.

Seems to be running OK in my games. I'm running memtest 86+ right now, so far 0 errors. Do I need to run any other applications or is memtest good enough?
I'm a noob with this stuff. Updated 3/20/2013 @ 10:14AM ET

Prime 95 said I got a Fatal Error:Rounding was 0.5 expected less than 0.4. This is on worker 2.
Set it back to 8-8-8-24 @ 1.601v. I'm testing this now to check for issues.

update

2 errors at 8-8-8-24 @ 1.601v in memtest

both say 8 2 00136cee224 - 4972.9mb a5f7c421 a577c421 00800000 One says count 1 and the other says count 2.

Do you have any ideas??

update 3/22

9 9 9 24 1.507v is running good 7hrs of memtest and 7hrs of prime95, had no errors.
