Installation of front power cable. How is it done correctly?

Hi there. This is my first attempt to build a PC.
I just got my bitfenix prodigy and im using a P8Z77-I as motherboard.
I'm attempting to install the front panel power switch, reset switch, etc.
The end of the cables for the front panel does only have an arrow on the "left side" of the connector.
I'm assuming that this is a hint as to how the cables are supposed to be attached to the motherboard, indicating that this is plus, and this is minus. or something.

I cant find any useful help in the manuals as to how they are inserted correctly.
So: how do i know what way the cables are supposed to be attached to the motherboard?

Hope you guys understand what i'm trying to say. Sorry for my english and my noobishness.

Hi, For the power and reset switches the polarity does not matter.
With the leds, if they don't work, just connect the wires the other way.
