So, I'm looking at buying a monitor for my new computer set up. Wanting to use a full surround setup with three screens.

I'm not very good when it comes to displays and monitors, but I have an idea of what I would like.

I'm looking for between 24 and 27 inches.
Resolution of about 1920x1200 or 2580x1440. I would like fast response times also and possibly 120hz, as well as high contrast ratio.
Almost forgot to mention. I'd also like it to have a good solid, adjustable stand.

I do a lot of programming, editing (videos and photos) and I want to get into modding for games. I also play a lot of heavily modded games and watch movies and tv shows in full HD.

I'll be running them along with three EVGA GX680 4gb, so I have all the grunt in the world for them, I just want to make sure they're high quality.

Finally, I want to keep my budget at around $300-350, but will extend to $400 if needed. 3D isn't important, but I would like 120hz as mentioned above. Thank you :)

I decided to go with the Asus VG248QE.

Having 144hz, 1ms and 1080p @$300 is way to good to pass up on, and with 3D capabilities I can grab a kit down the track. It looks like a great deal.
