My previous PSU was an Antec Earthwatts 650w 80plus bronze which ignited itself in the middle of the night after 15 months of use. Needless to say, waking up to a room filled with silicon smoke and a small fire was not fun - not to mention the crappy lingering smell and the risk of burning down my house.

So, any suggestions for a new non-traumatizing PSU would be much appreciated! =)

What I'm looking for:
1. Priority: Extremely-low-likelihood-of-fire - I'd much rather have a PSU that simply blows out than the scenario I already experienced.
2. Power efficiency of an 80 plus
3. How much noise it makes
4. 500w+ (I think anything 500w+ should sufficient for my rig)

Cost range ~$100 give or take $25

My specs:
i5-2500k
Geforce gtx560ti
2x 8g corsair ram
2x Case Fans

Antec psus are good ones, the antec earthwatts 650 green was made by delta, which is a good company, it can deliver the full power and in this review it seems a good psu : http://www.kitguru.net/components/power-supplies/zardon/antec-earthwatts-ea-650w-review-green-2011/5/

But i'm not aware of the fire hazard of it.
