Hi,

I'm trying to use the HDMI on my motherboard for the display port and it won't work. I have installed all the drivers on the disc for the motherboard so should it work?

Hi,
Are you connecting DP (motherboard) to HDMI (monitor/TV)?
If yes, then you have to use an active adapter.
If you're using HDMI (motherboard) to DP (monitor), then try a DP to DP cable.
