Hello!

I have a dell xps 420 and I recently put in an Fsp 450w psu max 500w (80 bronze) and I've been wanting to upgrade the graphics card for a while now. I currently have a GeForce gt 530 but it doesn't give me the kind of quality I want in my games, for example it runs swtor ok on low settings even medium but it lags a bit and it also overheats. I would like to run swtor, wow, and lol at high to ultra settings and still have a good fps count (60+) and low heat (if I need to install a fan or two that's fine as well) I really only game and watch movies. I'm in the us and I'm looking to spend about 120 or lower, thanks in advance!

I was thinking about this card but im afraid that having nvidia software installed it might conflict? Right now I'm running at 1440x900 res but I plan on upgrading later on, so what do you guys think of this card:

Hi Shawn, thanks for responding! I've looked through those but I'm still conflicted on what would be best for my system, and if switching to a different software product instead of nvidia will cause computer problems.

Well to help you decide what GPU is best, i'd need to know 2 things,
a) What processor your running
b) How much you're willing to spend on a new GPU.

There is NO issue which switching between AMD and Nvidia graphics. Just uninstall all the nvidia driver software before removing the GT 530 card. Then fix in the new AMD card, and install the latest AMD drivers from AMD's website. That easy :)
Here, fill in the drop down boxes, and get the latest AMD drivers,

Out of those choices the 650 ti is the most powerful.

Step 1 uninstall all graphics drivers.

Step 2 turn off your computer.

Step 3 install the new gpu.

Step 4 turn on your computer and install the newest drivers.

No conflict. =)
