Hi folks,

I am in the process of building my HTPC using Silverstone Grandia GD08B and Asrock Z77 Extreme4 ATX mobo. I bought the Asrock smart remote as well.

The instructions for the remote say that I should connect to the CIR header on the mobo using the 4 pins of a USB2.0 9-pin connector. But the front panel of the case has only USB3.0 ports with the attached 20-pin connector.

I assume I will have to buy a 9-pin USB2.0 connector for the CIR header but how do I bring the other end of the connector out of the case? I do have two USB2.0 ports on the back panel. Can I somehow connect the 9-pin connector to one of these ports on the mobo? Any other suggestions on the best way to achieve this. I do not want to drill a hole in the case.

Thanks a lot for your help.
