Hi,

I am looking at upgrading my PSU. Currently I have a 350w that came with my PC (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/product?cc=us&dlc=en&docname=c00748726&lang=en&lc=en&os=228&product=3254029 ). I want to know what PSU will work with this form factor and mother board (MB: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c00748726&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&cc=us&dlc=en&lang=en&lc=en&os=228&product=3254029 ). It will need to be able to power an 8800 GTS 512 (+12v 26amps).

I have been out of the computer hardware game for about 4 years so I am not up on what brands are the best. I would like to walk that line of best bang for your buck and quality and reliability. My budget is $50-$80. Any suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

For example, would this work: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153168

as long as the power supply has a 4pin and 24 pin connection it should work for that motherboard. Thermaltake has some good and some bad psu's. I would recommend buying one that at least has reviews on newegg.

Okay, thanks. One other question. The old PSU (DPS-350AB-8 A by Delta Electronics) is an ATX form factor. Does this mean I can only put an ATX size in there? For example the PSU I linked above is listed as an ATX12V / EPS12V. Will this fit my ATX box? The thing looks like it has a fan on the top. My current one does not have a fan on the top. How is that going to work?
