Ok so this will be my first PC build and I am on this site constantly lately about different questions I have with regard to this build.

I am convinced (from all my time on here) that you guys will give me the feedback I need before I take the plunge.

I am using this system for gaming and streaming music simultaneously. I am going for the best possible gaming performance while peforming web browsing or music at the same time. I am running a dual monitor setup with 60 hz 1080p monitors.

Here goes! Sorry if it seems in an odd order, but i am copying out of my cart on newegg.

LITE-ON DVD Burner
Coolermaster HAF X 942 Full tower case
NZXT Sentry touch screen fan controller
Seagate SV 35 1TB data drive
2x Reference EVGA GTX 680s
Corsair HX850 Power Supply
32GB G.SKILL Sniper Gaming 1600 ram
ASUS Maximus V Formula LGA 1155 EATX mb
i-7 3770k processor
Corsair Hydro H90 Water Cooler
Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB SSD
Windows 8 Professional 64 Bit OEM.

A few other accessories such as wires and extra standoffs too.

So guys, how does it look? Am I missing anything?

Any good feedback would be awesome!

Thanks!

doesnt look right

-i7s are not really for gaming. if you are doing video work, go ahead with it though
-you dont need that much ram
-its a enterprise drive, not really for the desktop
-fan controllers are a gimmick when motherboard controls work better
-wattage is unecessary
-680s are total crap in terms of value
-you sure you want windows 8?
-better cases for the money
-get rid of cheapo watercoolers
-motherboard is overkill.
-neutron gtx isnt much faster for a 40 dollar increase in price

get this
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JWJY

-you dont need 2 video cards to game at 1080p.
-if you dont mind radeon cards, id get a 7970 instead. performs better and comes with 2 great games

Thanks for the feedback guys!

Helpful info! I will look into your suggestions and great catch on the surveilance hard drive. Doh!!!

Appreciate it!

Also you mentioned cheapo water coolers? What would you suggest? Are you referring to ones that have bigger radiators like the H100?

Also changed the 1TB hard drive to a WD Black.

THank you!

im referring to every AIO unit. the only one id actually get is the swiftech h220 but thats unnecessary for most

caviar black is useless. same drive, just that you pay 30-40 bucks more for warranty. at that rate i can get a seagate 2tb
