Need Help new build, starts but then shuts off GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3

Just built a brand new pc and it starts just fine, displays the gigabyte splash screen for a brief second then shuts off after 5 or so seconds.

GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3 rev3.0
FX-6300
xfx 7870
xfx pro 650w
corsair vengeance blue 8gb
lite on optical
caviar blue 500gb

I have tried unplugging all but the vid card and it does the same thing every single time, reset cmos with jumper and pulled battery

Not sure what my options are now.

Is it the card or am I missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi, It might be a CPU temperature issue. Try reinstalling the CPU heatsink. Clean and reapply new thermal paste. For how to, there are some good videos on youtube.

I'm going to try and reseat everything and hopefully there is something that i missed, i don't believe i am but you never know. I am very thorough.

Alright reseated everything, tried new power supply, even unhooked video card still shuts off after a few. Anyone else have any ideas or things i could try? I already have an RMA from Amazon coming but would like to figure this out if anyone has any clues or just chalk it up to a bad mobo? Thanks

To support FX6300, bios update to support it is required.
