i wired two tv's to my computer, one using a vga output the other i used hdmi. however there was a big difference in colour and quality of the picture between both of them (VGA looked better) and i could not match them to look the same using the colour settings. If i do a dual display will a hdmi to vga converter eliminate that problem or is there another solution.

i have a ATI radeon HD 5450 if that helps

Wait what?

VGA should not look better than HDMI ... you probably did not hook your graphics card up to the correct HDMI port on that one. Usually manufacturers designate a specific HDMI port for PCs.

To answer your question though ... maybe. In theory it should at least make the picture closer, though really if you convert to VGA you are downgrading the signal.
