AMP and Speakers for under £100

Ok, i was looking to get new speakers for my PC and looked around on a few pages and people were saying to get studio monitors with an amp....but I have no idea what to get, i have a £100 budget, absolute maximum.
If anybody can find speakers and amp (or pc speakers if they are better) for under £100 let me know.

If you only need 2 speakers, powered studio monitors would be a good choice and you could integrate them into more speakers if you wanted surround sound.

They do look good, but i need an amp aswell don't I and that's another £25, and I cant go over £100, are there any cheaper alternatives to the AV40's?

The speakers have amps in them so all you have to do is run a cable out from your computer to the input of the speakers. Then you use the audio software that came with your computer to control volume, treble, bass and etc. They won't provide much bass but you can always add a powered sub woofer later on.
