So, I have a CG8480 ASUS ROG Desktop ( http://rog.asus.com/desktops/z77/rog-cg8480/ ) that came with a

GTX 660 (With 3 GB),
I7-3770K
500 WATT PSU
16 GB RAM (4 Slots DDR3)

But I want to upgrade to the GTX 680 since there is quite a huge difference in graphics, but if I cant I'll just go for the GTX 670 if possible. Thanks guys!

According to the PSU calculator you need 492 watts, however if you are using a cheap brand, I would not recommend it. Look up the PSU and look for online reviews, or see if it's bronze silver gold or platinum certified. These certification will tell you how efficient the PSU is.

Buddy your gonna need a lot more power to run that 680. Since you have the 680 and 3770k at least a 650w but play it safe with a 700w

The problem is you bought your computer from a computer manufacturer, and they use cheap parts to try to maximize profits. I'm sure it will be fine for a while until the PSU get older and it's performance is reduced, then you're in big trouble.
