I am going to build a HTPC and i would like some help. I was thinking of having these parts:

CPU: Intel Core i3-2100 3.1GHz Dual-Core Processor ($119.99 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: ASRock H77M-ITX Mini ITX LGA1155 Motherboard ($105.97 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1333 Memory ($35.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 830 Series 64GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Optical Drive: LG UH12NS29 Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($99.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $491.92

I currently have a 2TB drive that i need to put into it and and i need a case. I would like to find one that i could that is less than 12 inches in length so it will fit on the shelf nicely. If anyone could help, it would be much appreciated.

LIAN LI PC-Q08B This meets your need for under 12" in length (10.71" although the height is 13.58" if that is a problem) but it's a fairly pricy case ($109). There are cheaper ones but this case allows you to use a normal size power supply and has better cooling.

A Lian Li case would do good for your build. I'd always recommend getting an A series APU from AMD instead of Intel - the built in graphics are much better than Intel's and the CPUs are much cheaper.
