ok i have my pc for about 10 months and in this time i upgraded some stuff in like my gpu i got a gigabyte gtx 690 
so the question is, i have something i some games framedrops that i dont think i should have with my gpu like in crysis 3 with all on max my framerates sometimes drop to about 40, i know in crysis 3 its normal but still my gpu cost 1000$ i think i should have better framerates. i saw in some forums that it might be a cpu problem. so i though maybe i should overclock it.
i have i7 2700k on stock clock which is 3.5ghz normal and 3.8-3.9 on turbo.
my motherboard is GIGABYTE Z68MA-D2H-B3 and i have a watercolling for my cpu which is ANTEC KUHLER H2O 620 Liquid Colling.
first i want you to tell me if overclocking without problems is posible on my system and secondable if it is posible tell me how can i do it the best way so i wont have problems.
