What are the demensions for an air cooler for the ASUS P9X79 WS?

I am looking at getting an I7-3930K and overclocking it. I want a powerful cooler that will keep my CPU frigid but at the same time not take up any of the DIMM slots. If you could, recommend an air cooler that will support the needs that I have if it isn't to mush trouble or the max dimensions will work as well. Thanks for the help!

I do not understand what you mean by dimensions of a cooler for your motherboard. What case are you using? I always recommend a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO for budget cooling. Next up would be the Xigmatek Dark Knight Hawk and the NZXT Havik 140. If you want the best of the best, consider a NH-D14, Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E Extreme, and the Phanteks PH-TC14PE. However these coolers (D14 to Phanteks) will potentially block your RAM slots. What ram are you using?
