To start of I would like to address that it is an Atom processor. With that out of the way the atom processor is basically and all in one solution for small netbook computers. These are (by far) the slowest (though I use that lightly) computers today. A laptop on the other hand should have an i3 or better of some sort. The i3 is a little bit better of a processor and you will find that it will be alot more powerful than the atom computer. Now with that said a netbook with an atom is still a perfectly fine choice. It really comes down to what you are planning on doing. If you just plan on browsing the web and watching youtube then sure the Atom is a perfectly fine choice. If you plan on working with other programs you may want to go with the i3 laptop. In the end you should choose based on your needs they should both perform fine in whatever you plan on doing.
