Currently I run:
Q9650 @ 4GHz; 8 GB (DDR2) RAM; 2x6850 (@850 MHz); Velociraptor + 2TB storage; 750 W Corsair PSU;

Bit background:
I was going for a CPU/Mobo upgrade because I was running Vista x64 and when in BF3 my CPU load was 95%+ RAM 6+GB... In the meantime I upgraded to W8 and now CPU is ~80-85% and RAM is ~4GB... (frame rates are bit higher as well now ~55 but before on the same map ~45-50 on 1920x1200)

So I decided to skip the basic upgrade and wait for Haswell performance number (and eventual drop in Sandy/Ivy)

Yet I have this itch for something new in my PC... :)

What is you opinion?

Thanks for the replay - it is interesting one: that was my initial planing: squeeze the life of this setup (it is balanced to my opinion: CPU & GPUs are ~80-90% loaded during BF3);
then sell whatever I can on ebay (anyone interested for some (still working & in good shape!!) junk? :D ) and build my self a nice powerful mini-ITX box...

buy then... this da@#$ itch for upgrade... I kind of feel that SSD would be a nice treat, but GPU is also tempting to smooth out some stutter in a busy maps with many players...
:??:
