Am I correct on how to hook up this video card?

Hi, I will be getting the ASUS GeForce GTX550 video card. I was wondering if I am correct about how to install it. Once unboxed and everything, you would plug it in the PIC-E port, and plug the splitter that came with it into a molex plug right?

If I am not correct, would someone please tell me the right way?

Yea, thats how. But you only need a splitter if your PSU doesn't have the right power connector in the first place.

Well what is the cord that comes with the card for? I thought it was to power it?
