I currently run 2 ATI Radeon 6850 in crossfire... while that is good and all I am having a little lag while playing Blacklight Retribution. This is very annoying. Of course, it is NOT a deal with internet but I'm sure it is with the hardware.
So every time there is some sort of "fight" or changing equipment of something that requires a higher framerate it freezes for a second or two and it is very annoying. I recorded some videos in FRAPS and shows a steady 60FPS and when that happens they drop to 1FPS.
I currently have the game installed in a SSD running an i7 @920. I also have 16Gb in RAM.
Also, I tried to run it at minimum settings... still, no dice...
So, maybe if I buy a 7950 will that solve my issue? I do NOT want to spend more than $300. I guess, 2 6850's or 1 7950? Or is it even that the bottleneck??
Game footage
Check 0:03 when I stopped for a whole second, this happens often
