Hello there!

I am pretty new to building my computer but I think I have pretty much figured it out but I want some of the old hands to help me out and just check my handy work and that I haven't forgot something or made a serious mistake before I purchase. I am building this pc primarily to have a gaming pc on a budget. I am happy with mid range graphics on demanding games. I think it will do the job but if someone feels like I have made a big problem please show me the errors of my ways. Also, already own a 650 watt power supply and I am getting windows 7 again. Also, no optical drive needed. Any and all suggestions are welcome! And thank you ahead of time! I'm sitting around the total of $500 dollars for a finished product.

This will be much better. What brand is the PSU you have?
This build has a better CPU/motherboard/case and a much better GPU.

I'm sorry! I actually have a 500 watt psu and I have a diablotek PSDA500 and this build looks awesome but the $500 dollar budget has to include my os, so I guess I should say a $410 dollar budget with a little flex, like $20. Anywhere that could flex but still be respectable?

Well, Diablotek is an awful PSU company. I wouldn't recommend using that PSU in anything. It likely makes no more than 400w and has no protection circuit. Its junk. I'm sorry. You want a unit from Antec, XFX, Corsair, Seasonic.

The i3 is superior to the 965BE. More cores does not mean faster or better. I would buy a new PSU. The Diablotek is crap and will likely fail and take your components with it. I recommend the i3 build I posted.
