Cooler Master 212 cooler, will it fit?

Im worried about that heatsink being too tall and not being able to fit added to the height of the motherboard. What do you guys think? Will it fit?

If it wont, please can you give me a link to a heatsink that will? Please also keep the price under $32!!!

I checked compatibility, and it says it supports AM3. Does this include AM3+?
Also, do you think the thermal paste that the cpu or the cpu cooler will be good enough or should I get AS5?

AM3 is the same as AM3+ when it comes to the socket attachment layout. Don't bother with AS5, the stuff with the cooler will suit you just fine. Unless you are OCD about 2 degrees or so.

Hahahaha okay. I did read some feedback on it though. The people said they had trouble fitting this in their AM3+ socket. Do you think they just don't know how to install it?

The few that I read were people who were hoping it would install on the stock AM3 backplate or didn't want to pull the mobo. Not a very good position to argue that it doesn't work. You should be perfectly fine as long as you follow the directions. lol.

I've never built a computer. My friend who built his about 3 months ago is going to come to my house and help me so I dont mess stuff up. I think with our combined brain power we might be able to figure it out
