Windows 7 won't let me install windows to Patition 1 or 2

I'm re installing windows and its not working. The first partition says total space 4.1 gb and free space 4.1 gb. It only requires 8512 mb to install so I know I have enough space. Plz help

8512MB = 8.5GB

You're trying to stuff 10lb into a 5lb sack.
