The thread title really says it all. I have looked around the net for quite some while and cannot recall ever seeing a case that has the ability to remove both the 5.25 bay and the HDD cages together to completely free up the front. Does this case even exist?

It seems like having all that open area in the front would really allow for some great airflow. I ask this because if a decent enough one exists, I would be in the market for it.

I don't think there's a case with the option to remove all the bays. I know there's some that allows you to remove all the 3.5inch bays but I'm not sure on the 5.25inch bays.

Dont think there is, that kind of feature would be more likely in the highest tier of cases, so think Mountain Mods or Caselabs.
Though of course, with a drill you can remove all the drive cages you want :D .

I have looked at these and though they are fantastic in build quality, they are clearly designed for watercooling. I was recently thinking of doing a watercooling build, but I have had a good amount of success just sticking with air. I love the low maintenance of it while still having the ability to be a striking performance.

I currently have a Lian Li PC-K9WX and enjoy it quite a bit. I would, however, love something a bit bigger with more air options. I have to admit though, for a small case, I have managed to fit 2x 140mm(native) and a 120mm in the 5.25 bay of this case already which is more than can be said about many cases in its price range.

I was really just curious if there is a case that has that kind of extreme focus on air without being a plastic hulk with massive, unorthodox fans (200mm +).
