Hello i want to ask whether hd 6670 work on my pc??? my budget $100 or rs 5000 i have a psu which has 12v~11A.
My specs-core 2 duo e7400 2.8ghz
ram-2gb ddr2
resolution-1366*768
my pc specs-http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01777936&lang=en&cc=us&taskId=101&contentType=SupportFAQ&prodSeriesId=3942826&prodTypeId=12454
you can also suggest me any other graphic card which dont require new psu......and yes i cannot go above $100 earlier i had but i coulnot do now:(
i want to play games like watch dogs at medium-high,assasins creed al parts at high, gta 4,call of duty mw3,battlefield 3,crysis 3 etc
and upcoming games like gta 5,mw4,bf4 etc at medium or low.....

gta4 will struggle mainly because of your CPU, it will be pretty much unplayable. Same with crysis 3 and COD, very CPU intensive games. So basically it wont matter what gpu you get even if your psu were powerful enough, you wont be able to play many of the games you want to, at least not with high enough FPS to make them enjoyable. Unless you like watching a slideshow? Your best bet would to be to save up for a PS3 or xbox 360, they would run games much better than your low spec pc and you will be able to play any future titles that come out on them.

will it work with that psu????????? a hd 6670 ddr3 is nearly 4200 and 2gb ddr2 is 1000 so i can afford that much......

my dear.even gpu takes power from mobo it doesnot matter at all as psu will power it .hd 6670 takes 63w at peak so it will be supplied from psu to mobo to gpu!

onlly low end gpu like gt 610 hd 6450 will work but they all are crap!

see watts are not important +12v is imp.sometimes a good 220w psu has around 15 or 16 a so around 190w is output so it can be run.but yours is very low.never take a risk as it may damage gpu and voids warranty.

better wait and save up more
