Even for someone desensitised by motherboard naming conventions, JBOD2000 sounds like something from the Jersey Shore :p

It is awkward because in enterprise hardware JBOD means "Just a Bunch Of Disks" and it is mostly used in cheap enclosures just to cram HDDs on. These doesn't have any processor or memory or RAID controller to aid the server on data handling.

So while the JBOD2000 is in fact a JBOD enclosure, its weird why they came up with a name that has such a "dirt slang" on it...
