My computer still had parts from 2008 installed in it.. so I finally decided to upgrade. I would love to overclock it for optimal performance but sadly I lack the proper knowledge.

The timing on the ram was different in the BIOS than listed. Can I just change those to what they are supposed to be and call it good?
Also, Should I attempt to OC my main GPU?
I will be more than happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability
