I've been hesitating between those two cards for the following reasons.

I will be running a dual monitor setup: one at 1920x1200 and one at 1920x1080
I will be running games on both of them.
I do not want to want to use sli or crossfire, but I have an existing gts 250 that could run the second monitor since the drivers work for both nvidia cards.

So really the question is: would it be better to pay extra and get the 670 to be able to still use the gts 250 or does the 7950 wins by being cheaper and more able to run a dual monitor setup efficiently with its increased memory bandwidth.

Unless I'm mistaken Nvidia surround supports a minimum of 3 monitors for gaming, Eyefinity allows two though. Think carefully about using two for gaming though, you're going to be staring into bezels half the time.

Even so, the 7950 is a better card. They're roughly on par at stock, but the 7950 will OC higher, and its cheaper. The choice is obvious.
