I was overclocking my Radeon HD 5450 (very crappy card lol) from 650 core clock to 755 core clock, and from 450 memory to 540 memory (it can handle MUCH more than that, but last time I doubled 450 to 900 my computer crashed lol). Ok anyways...
I overclocked this and I usually get to around 75 to 76 degrees playing black ops 2 on low settings (no bells and whistles, 1152x864 graphics)... recently I tried "pushing" the limit without getting the temp any higher than 77 degrees... so I increased the graphics to 1280x960... and the temp went DOWN to 70 deg. MAX while in a game and in the high 60's when I'm in the lobby (waiting for a game to start).. I was expecting it to go higher since I was increasing my graphics level! Was I UNDERclocking my GPU before when it was running on super low settings?
