Will Corsair CXV2 500w PSU work for HD 6970 ??

Hi this is my new build

i5 2500k stock cooled by cm 212 hyper evo
As rock h71-dgs motherboard
8 gb transcend 1333 MHz ram
1 tb HDD
HD 6970 2 GB GDDR5
Windows 7 ultimate 64 bit OS
Corsair CXV2 500w PSU

AMD recomends that it needs 550 Watt or greater power supply with one 150W 8-pin PCI Express® power connector and one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connector.Frankly saying i dont really know much about these. But i dont have money to buy one .so if you could say that it works or not works i will be happy please anyone

Hi, it will do the trick, though, i would rather get the 7850 2GB or 7870 if it's for about the same price.

Hi, i would grab the 7850 for a much lower power consumption and about the same performance(a bit less), it probably is cheaper, the 7870 is better and still draws less power.
