Is the Corsai 430 watt enough for the GTX 660 and an i5 3570?

Hi all :)

I need a new PSU. My rig has a gtx 660 and an i5 3570, with the standard stuff. (8 gb DDR3 Ram, Harddrive, Webcam, fans you know the basics :p).

Anyways, I was looking for a decent PSU that can deliver, but I am not an overclocker who uses crossfire etc, so I dont need one of these 100 pound super PSU's.

I was wondering if the Corsair Builder Series CX 430 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit would give enough juice... Though I doubt it to be honest....

Other choices are, in order of appeal :

1) OCZ OCZ-CXS500W-UK CoreXStream Series 500W Power Supply
2) FSP HEXA 500W PSU
3) Xigmatek NRP-VC503 500W Power Supply
4) OCZ TECHNOLOGY OCZ500SXS2-UK OCZ 500W StealthXStream Ii Power Supply
5) Cooler Master 500W 12V Elite Power 500 Power Supply Unit
6) Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit

I know, the PSU threads are getting ANNOYING! xD But heck, a good PSU is important so please excuse the 1001'th thread on this.

Thanks in advance.

I'd stick with ocz (my personal ps) or corsair; choose the one with the highest 12v rating in amps. Higher single rail 12v units are preferred by some folks. I also like antec, but don't see it on your list.

hmm.. I guess I will buy the Corsair Builder Series CX 500 Watt ATX/EPS 80 PLUS Bronze Power Supply Unit... it is the best unit and in all fairness, the difference in price is just 10-15 pounds... which, while something, is at the end of the day not that huge...

I would love to hear from a few other what they have to say, so I will wait for an hour... then I buy it.

Cheers

As long as you have no intention of overclocking, then the Corsair 430W will be plenty. I doubt you would ever draw over 300w with that system.

Edit: Proof: http://www.legitreviews.com/article/2023/11/

So you even have some space for overclocking. For reference, I ran an overclocked 3570K & HD7870 on a corsair 450W for a while.
