HDD:500 GB

Thanks and please let me know if there's something i need to change....I have divided the money i have and planning to buy these items.

PSU:CORSAIR VS650 650W ATX Power Supply (Present is 250W) ---> VS version isnt good. pick corsair CX version, or from XFX brand

Make sure your RAM is 1600mhz anything higher and you will be wasting your money.

Also I agree with above but you only need a 500w psi, the Corsair CX500w is perfect for this (Just found out the 600w version is 20$ cheaper)

Get a 7870 it will be able to max just about every single game, one of the best cards + it outperforms the 660. OR a 7870XT only 30$ (or so) more but it performs at the level of a 7950 and above the 660ti.

Thanks guys for the info...As per RAM suggestion i had a look at "8GB DDR3 RAM DESKTOP TRANSCEND SINGLE RAM 1600MHZ"....is that ok burritbob sir?

And about GPU i have compared GTX 560 vs gtx 660 and gtx 660 vs 7870.....Can't decide which one to go for and will they run on above mentioned mobo "Asus P8H61-M LX"?

And i can get "Corsair CX600W Builder Series SMPS Power Supply CX600 " on ebay for around 80$....

And also please tell me what's the difference between gtx 560 and gtx 560 ti...which one is good and what does ti mean?

Thanks for your time and help.

Sir,I am from india and found CX 600W for around 75-80$...even if newegg ships to india..shipiing fee and item cost will get around 80$..So i will buy it from ebay india.

Please clear my doubt on GPU and RAM sir ..(See my last reply yesterday)

And also a noob question....On 7870 card can i play all games that can be played on gtx 660? What i know was that those two are different just like MAC and windows :p and i think i'm wrong...:D

Thanks for you help and time

I am sorry for not mentioning that....

However i can get all the items you guys suggested at the same price as shown in new egg and amazon at ebay india.

But i am now confused which one to go for....CX 600W have both positive and negative feedback...some say that it lasted for one year and some say that it lasted for 2 weeks :(
And also i am confused abt GPU...either 7870 or gtx 660 what make should i choose...only sapphire is available for 7870 and EVGA or FORSA for gtx 660

And is TRANSCEND 1600MHz 8 gb DDR3 RAM good?

And do the above mentioned GPU work with Asus P8H61-M LX MOBO?

Thanks for your time and help :)

Hello,my whole budget is around 20,000-25,000 INR and with it i need to buy a PSU,MOBO,CPU,GPU,DDR3 RAM.

My maximum screen resolution is 1280x1024

are you going to updgade monitor as for that resolution you donot need hd 7870.even hd 7770 will handle games at max settings.

take this:

Intel i3 3220/3210 - rs 6700

Gigabyte h61 d2h - rs 3000

Corsair cxv2 430w - rs 2700

Corsair vengance 1600mhz ram 8gb - rs 3500

Zotac gtx 650ti 1 gb - rs 10500

this psu is more than enough for this rig.but from local store only
