Hey guys!

First of all, I'm new here, so if I'm posting this in the wrong section, please don't pound me like I killed someone :D (even though I read the sticky and I think I'm in the right place). Before i say anything regarding my doubt, here are my system specs:

OS: Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 32 bits
MB: ASRock 775 Twins HDTV P1.90 BIOS
CPU: Intel Pentium D 2.8 Ghz
GPU: ATI Radeon 4600 Series 1Gb GDDR3
RAM: 1.5Gb 533 Mhz (divided in 2 cards: one has 1Gb and the other with 512Mb, woriking on different clock speeds).

I use this PC mostly for gaming (the most demanding game I play here is Empire: Total War, in medium-low specs) and I was thinking on upgrading my RAM to 4Gb 667Mhz (2 slots of 2Gb each). Will it have any noticeable impact on my gaming performance?

Any reply is most welcome. Thank you.

I don't think you'll get much benefit from additional ram. Win 32 bit systems can only recognize and use 3GB. I would personally think that overclocking combined with a graphics card upgrade may be the way to go if unsatisfied with your current settings/frame rates
