Installing GTX 690 with 8Pin Y adapter

So, i got my new modular PSU today.
Is it okay to use the Y-cable that splits to 2x8pins?

Or should i run 2 cables from the psu?
Dumb question, i bet.

If the cable is split into 2x8 then it's probably capable of delivering enough power. But you should run two cables from the PSU just to be sure, you don't want to leave that beast without enough power

I was too exited, and ended up using that that Y-adapter. xD
No worries. The GPU hasnt arrived yet - so i have pleanty of time to change cables.
