Thermaltake; Is it good? Is it better or worse than the tx (corsair) series?

I was going to get the tx650, but amazon is raising its prize as hell, and i'm not going to buy just now.

Compared to the thermaltake: Is it worse or better? How many years of warranty? And opinions of the psu if you have it. Thanks

I have personally never been a fan a thermaltake IMO there psu are crap and many people will say the same. I would try to go with the corsair tx650 if i were you.

Since the power supply is the heart of the system I never go cheap on it.

I think you should look at the reviews, this link is to legitimate reviews http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page541.htm of the PSU's - not a complete list but good enough. My take here is to either go through the reviews and find one that is highly rated or, conversely, find a PSU you are intersted in (such as the ThermalTake, not all their units are bad) and then read the reviews found in that link for that PSU (be sure to match model number since names are often interchanged - such as the Corsair TX650 which used to be made by SeaSonic and was a great unit but is now made by ChannelWell with so-so results). I will also say that if you don't find a review for that PSU or series of PSU, you might want to avoid purchasing it.
