look at some of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007625%20600138080%20600007977&IsNodeId=1&name=2600MHz%20Hyper%20Transport%20%285200%20MT%2fs%29
Usually the boards with the black AM3+ sockets are ready for the Visheras. The white socket AM3+ boards with older chip sets may not be. Look for the 900 series chip sets. Of course, always check the CPU support list to be sure.
I had that same problem awhile back. I picked up a cheap used Sempron on ebay for just that purpose doing future builds and re-builds.

No, I am telling you that those boards should not need a bios update to support FX, I recently bought an MSI 990fxa board and it did not require a bios update, neither did the previous asus 970 board I bought. I have both a 6100 zambezi and an 8320 vishera

Indeed... but worth advising that anyone looking to use an 8320 or 8350 ought to stay away from Asrock boards (those with the 4+1 power phase). ASRock boards are, in engineering terms, extremely sh***y.

I realize some people will attest to the contrary but a 4+1 Power Phase design is absolutely ludicrous for use with a 125W CPU. Not because it cannot handle it, rather because of "how long" it can handle such a CPU for before the age of the components begins to show (blue screens and general instabilities).

Save yourself the headache and get a board with at least 6 phases dedicated for the CPU.

You are correct Elmo, you red furry muppet you, except that the extreme 4 and fatality asrock boards are not 4+1 the are 8+2 and 12+2 respectfully. I agree that all FX processors are power hungry, especially the eight "core" ones. I personally would go with the higher end asus boards but I just pointed out some boards that would support vishera without a bios update, if you check all the boards I suggested have better than 8 phase VRM
