According to here, no. I'd suggest to get a 1090T, or a 1100T. All of those AMD 8 core processors aren't as fast as they market them to be, so I wouldn't hold back on buying a 6 core.

That board is not compatible...

If you want an 8 core FX8XXX series processor, buy a 970 series chipset MoBo for about $75-90

If you cannot afford/do not want to replace your MoBo, either get a Phenom II X4 965 BE or a Phenom II X6 1055/1060/1100 BE

Get a 965 Black Edition Phenom instead, the FX is not supported, besides the 965 is just as fast or even faster than any FX in most scenarios.

If you can find a 1100T or 1xxx series get it, but they are getting more and more rare these days(ebay only really)

Get a 945 Black Edition Phenom instead, the FX is not supported, besides the 965 is just as fast or even faster than any FX in most scenarios.

Also to anyone reccomending a 1xxx series they are not compatible, most OEM boards are 95w only, the 965 and 1100t/1045t/1090t are 125w CPUs.
