Asrock mobo for Windows 8?

I am about to build my own computer for the first time. I purchased the ASRock z77 extreme3 LGA1155 motherboard, and on the outside of the box it says it supports Windows 7.

But on the website is says it is Windows 8 ready. Does anyone know for certain if I can use Windows 8 as an operating system with this motherboard? Any info would be great. Thanks!

LOL You can use any motherboard that supports a CPU that windows can use.

The only possible issue will be with drivers (sound, network etc) but I am sure that Asrock has updated drivers available.
