Hi, I overclocked my Intel i7-3770k to 4.0 Ghz, and got around high 50s°C, to 60°C max. will this harm my cpu? got a sabertooth z77 mobo, corsair h100i water cooler. i'm not sure if this is too high or low. and what do you recommend should i OC my cpu at, 3.9 GHz? thanks.

I don't recommend topping 80C with those chips. Watch the voltage and keep it under 1.3v if you want to keep your chip for some time. If you don't mind the loss in lifespan, you can usually get those things pretty high with some voltage bumps and good cooling. Not sure how far the h100i will get you, but you never know. I just recommend staying under 80C and 1.3v to be safe. :) I'd suggest trying for 4.2Ghz if you can as that's about the "norm" for the 3770k/3570k
