help! with on board sound card

Hey guys need some help with this following situation.

Im using a ASRock Z77 Extreme3 board,
POLK Audio RM6750 5.1Ch sound system and an Onkyo Tx-nr414 receiver with all cables ready.

Now Im trying to get my 5.1 system to work everything and I just get sound from the front speakers and the subwoffer is there anything im missing? I installed the realtek eq and when I go to settings and test my speakers selecting 5.1 system the two fronts are the only ones that makes sound not even the subwoffer, now guys please help me what am I missing?

How are the cables connected?
If you swap the cables (back with front) do you get sound from the back speakers?

I can swap them and still is the same but im using a regular audio cable that I used to connect to my phone I think thats the problem right? Is there any cable I can get to make them work ? Im confused I have the cable plugged to my PC output on the receiver and on the board its on the front output... I need help!

Try connecting the POLK directy to the PC (back audio ports). Use 3 cables. This way you would test the audio onboard.
