Does it matter what SATA 3 port i plug my SSD into?

I have bought a Samsung 840 PRO and want to install it myself but i do not know if i have to plug the SSD into a specific port for maximum effect, i have a Gigabyte 970A-UD3 motherboard and it has 3 light blue SATA ports going from SATA3_0 to SATA3_5 does it matter what port i plug it into or not?

Connect into the SATA3_0, usually it does not matter, but PC will boot the device in the lower# SATA port first and set the dvd is the ist boot order, SSD is the 2nd in the bios.

The general rule of thumb is connect the ssd boot drive to the SATA_0 port on the motherboard.

All 6 SATA ports on your motherboard are associated with the AMD SB950 chipset so it probably won't matter.
