No sound Laptom

I just acquired a Free Micron Millennia transport laptop that I plan on using for some old dos and 95 games. After installing win98 the sound doesn't work even tho I installed numerous drivers.

Check device manager, you may have to select the driver to use.

I selected the driver but it turns out some how the sound card wasn't configured right in bios, not that I configured it in bios it works..
